You Are Flawed. And So Are Your Heroes.

You Are Flawed. And So Are Your Heroes.

In psychology terms, it’s a term used to describe when we meet our heroes and realize, despite an otherwise impressive statue, that just like us, at their base they’re flawed and imperfect. Although we accept flaws and chinks in the armor of our favorite superheroes, we are told “don’t meet your (real life) heroes”. A lot of the time it doesn’t.”Your heroes don’t succeed because they don’t have flaws. Our heroes are flawed, and that makes them human. My heroes are flawed and broken, and so am I.
